We start with a personal conversation about your desires and goals for your website. A project manager will discuss with you: what you hope to achieve with your site, features that are critical to the success for your online image, how you want your site to look, realistic costs and timelines and much more. The purpose is to get a clear understanding of exactly what you need, what you want and what you can afford. Together we will come up with a plan to get you there! Once we’ve agreed on the correct plan for your site we’ll start developing.

Each and every website we develop receives its own temporary development site. Shortly after this temporary site has been set up you will receive a link, where you can go and check the progress of your site! This allows for open communication between you and the Nerd developing your site. We not only encourage your feedback, we desire it! You are the person who knows your clients the best and only you know how you wish to be represented. If the colour isn’t right, we want to know right away. If you’d like to change a picture, send us a new one and we’ll change it as soon as we can. This is the time to tweak and change things to suit you and to reflect your company. By doing this on the temporary site we make sure your clients always have a reliable experience on your site. There will be no “under construction” signs or warning messages cluttering your current site.

Once the temporary site is complete and meets with your approval, we will bring it live on your current site. We will back up and save your current site, before making any changes. We will then bring your site live!

What’s truly unique about our process is how you are always in the driver’s seat! Once your site is live we provide you with a range of options to maintain your site as well. Many of our customers just need to get things done and so periodically they will send us items they wish to have updated, pictures from their latest events, testimonials from happy customers or even just address changes. We get it taken care of quickly without any hassle.

Our more tech savvy and adventurous clients prefer to make updates and changes themselves. We applaud you and support you every step of the way to ensure your success. Once your site is live we give you a free one on one tutorial with one of our Nerds who will walk you through making changes and updating your site. If you ever get lost, simply let us know and we’ll be there to offer you the support you need to be successful.
